1955年出生于威尔士的 Bridgend。Amanda Levete 受教于世界知名的 AA(Architectural Association School of Architecture)建筑学院。以合伙人加入 Future Systems 建筑设计公司之前，曾于知名建筑师 Richard Rogers 门下工作过一段时间。
在 Future Systems 的二十年间完成了许多极具影响力的建筑作品，如位于 Birmingham 的 Selfridges 百货公司、1999年获得 British Architects Stirling Prize 的 Lord’s Media Centre…等等。2009年和合作多年的 Future Systems 拆伙后，创立了自己的公司 Amanda Levete Architects。
